Landscaping in Severance, CO

Lush, verdant grass tickling the bottoms of your feet. Bold, beautiful flowers with radiant colors. Manicured, fragrant shrubs that add character and privacy to your property. In today's hectic world, there's just something special and reinvigorating about interacting with grass, plants, and trees.

In fact, research tells us that many people find relief from stress when they're near nature. Workers have been shown to be more productive when working in or near an environment with plants. According to Harvard Health, even children with learning disabilities have been shown to focus better after being outdoors.

When your home is landscaped, it's a lot like an extension of your personality. It makes your space inherently special and uniquely you. It elicits pride in your hard work and even raises the value of your property. But finding the time, patience, and creativity for landscaping is easier said than done, especially when you work full-time and have family obligations seven days a week. That's when having a professional landscaper makes a whole lot of sense.

Whether you're looking to achieve a higher quality of living, want to make your yard more functional, or simply need reliable lawn care, Turf Tamers is the landscaping company you can trust.

Neighbors are Complaining

Your Next-Door

Neighbors are Complaining

Neighborhood aesthetics are a big deal in today's day and age. And while nobody likes a nosy HOA president nit-picking every detail of a property, your home has a direct impact on the attractiveness of your neighborhood. When one homeowner lets their lawncare and landscaping get out of control, your next-door neighbors might have something to say. That's especially true if they're trying to list their home on the market and boost the curb appeal of their house.

Hiring a skilled landscaping company can greatly improve the appearance of your lawn and garden, especially if you don't have time to keep it looking nice. Rather than dealing with negative feedback from neighbors, impress them with a new landscaping endeavor. Soon enough, your property will become the talk of the town for all the right reasons.

Your Plants

And Trees are Overcrowded

In the field of landscaping, remember that sometimes less is more. The way you position your shrubs, flowers, and trees can greatly impact the overall appearance of your property. If your lawn is overcrowded, it may give the impression of poor planning or neglect.

Overcrowding your plants can result in negative consequences for both their health and your water bill. When plants are too close together, some may struggle to absorb enough water to thrive. Other plants nearby may absorb the water, leaving some of your greenery looking brown and wilted.

To transform an overcrowded space into a well-distributed collection of your favorite plants, it's worth considering landscaping in Severance, CO, with a professional touch. Bringing in the pros will allow you to appreciate and enjoy your plants even more, as well as ensure they continue to flourish with proper care and watering.

You're Trying

Your Trees and Plants

Show Signs of Disease and Discoloration

Plants and trees can develop discoloration and signs of disease from many sources, like underwatering, overwatering, fungus, bacteria, and insects. When this happens, you might notice leaves forming spots and splotches, looking torn or holey, or falling off your plants entirely. Shrubs that provide privacy or aesthetic appeal may begin turning brown and misshapen. If your lawn or garden is dying slowly and you don't know what to do next, professional landscaping in Severance, CO, can save the day.

At Turf Tamers, our technicians are trained to promote plant health and maximize its longevity. Severance is returning for its sophomore installment. The Apple TV+ series premiered back in February 2022 and told the tale of Adam Scott’s Mark Scout, an employee of your seemingly typical cubicle company Lumon, and how he navigates the divide between his personal and professional life, literally. Mark went under Severance, the show’s namesake surgery, which splits the brain into two, effectively making his work and home life two completely separate entities. When Mark clocks in for work, he activates his professional side of his brain, and when he clocks out, he reverts to his personal, no memories of what he did at work that day remaining. Last fans saw in the Severance Season 1 finale, Mark had began to unravel what really goes on at Lumon and discovered that his thought-to-be deceased wife is alive.

Severance Season 2 Trailer’s Shocking Reveal

There’s a new quartet at Lumon.

Videos by ComicBook.com

Apple TV+ has unveiled the first teaser trailer for Severance Season 2. The first footage reveals the return of Adam Scott’s Mark Scout as well as his original co-workers, those being Zach Cherry’s Dylan George, Britt Lower’s Helen Riggs, and John Turturro’s Irving Bailiff.

Mark’s three companions are featured in flashing footage throughout the trailer’s first minute, but when he arrives back at the Lumon office, he is greeted by three new people sitting at Dylan, Helen, and Irving’s cubicles. Those new mystery Lumon employees are played by Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development), Bob Balaban (Capote, Seinfeld), and newcomer Stefano Carannante.

You can watch the Severance Season 2 trailer below…

“There was always a thinking ahead to future seasons,” Severance writer El Masri said in a recent interview when discussing the show’s future roadmap. “Even in Season 2, we were talking about, what is the end game and how does this show end? A lot of work was talking about that. I think there’s a natural overlap that happens, especially with the second season of a show, that you’ve got to keep [the momentum] going. People are interested, people are watching, and now with Season 2, you really have to sort of think about, not just what is Season 2 going to deliver in a satisfying way, but how does this set up Season 3 and beyond?”

It’s will have taken Severance Season 2 nearly three years to hit Apple TV+’s airways when it arrives in January, which Masri emphasizes is because the project is a labor of love.

“The entire team, they’re perfectionists and they want it to be great. And if that takes, you know, a year, two years, three years or whatever it’s going to be, they’re just going take the time they need to make it the show that they want, and clearly that’s paid off and in a remarkable first season. I feel like Ben and Dan and everyone, they’re not going to put something out that they don’t feel is amazing.”

Severance Season 2 premieres on January 17th, 2025. The show will release episodes every week for a ten-week stretch.

Apple TV+ just posted a teaser image from season 2 of cast member Adam Scott holding a bunch of blue balloons. We don't quite know the significance of this picture to the plot, but we do know we are pumped to see it!

Executive producer, Ben Stiller, spread the news about the Apple TV+ series’ return back in January 2024 with a quote tweet simply commenting, "back to work.”

Adam Scott also teased the Severance season 2 production in an Instagram post the same month, saying it’s “lovely being back at the office.” Severance season 2 is officially back on track. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming season!

Adam Scott is back in the first teaser trailer for Severance season 2 — and spends the entire trailer running from his problems (relatable). It appears that despite the fact Mark's innie retreats at the end of season 1, it looks like he wakes back up in the elevator and has lots of surprises waiting for him in the office.

Yes, we finally have a release date for Severance season 2! The sophomore season will hit Apple TV+ on January 17, 2025.

Apple TV+

Severance is a fictitious psychological thriller TV series that’s focused on a biotech company named Lumon Industries. In the show, Lumon Industries has popularized a procedure called ‘severance’ that separates their employees’ work selves from their personal lives. Essentially, when Lumon employees are at work, they can’t recall anything outside of work, and vice-versa when they aren’t at the office.

The first season of Severance follows Lumon Industries employee, Mark (portrayed by Adam Scott). Throughout the first season’s nine episodes, Mark and his coworkers begin to learn more about the severance procedure, their double-lives, and Lumon Industries’ true objectives – and it all begins to unravel in a mysterious way.

Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Dichen Lachman, and Michael Chernus are all part of the main cast in Severance.

Deadline confirmed in 2022 that Gwendoline Christie, Bob Balaban, Merritt Wever, Alia Shawkat, Robby Benson, Stefano Carannante, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, and John Noble are part of the Severance season 2 cast.

Apple TV+

You can stream season 1 of Severance on Apple TV+. If you don’t already have a subscription to Apple TV+, you can try the platform 7 days free before subscribing for $9.99/month.

Apple TV+

Severance season 2 is taking so long because production was halted in the wake of last year’s writers strike.

The cast and crew began filming season 2 on October 3, 2022, with production shutting down on May 8, 2023. Since SAG-AFTRA has struck a deal with AMPTP studios, it’s “back to work” on the Severance set per executive producer, Ben Stiller.

Apple TV+

Severance follows the horrors that come with working in an office, so yes, it’s creepy. Just kidding (sort of)!

The surreal tone of Severance definitely makes it creepy. There’s an ongoing feeling that someone – or something – is constantly keeping watch and wants to gain control. This tone, paired with the series’ clean, manicured (yet cold) visuals, chalks it up to be fairly disturbing.

The characters in the show become increasingly aware of this cryptic, surveillant presence, and the building tension definitely adds to the show’s creepiness. It’s also pretty existential, which is the creepiest feeling of them all.

Apple TV+

Severance was not canceled. (Thank goodness!) The production was put on pause due last May to 2023’s writers strikes, but it’s up and running now. We are enthused about the show’s return!

With Paramount Global poised to be taken over by Skydance Media in 2025, the three execs running Paramount as co-CEOs — George Cheeks, Chris McCarthy and Brian Robbins — now have an additional provision in their employment agreements that will let them quit and receive severance benefits if they are demoted from their co-CEO roles.

If any of the three are assigned “duties or responsibilities substantially inconsistent” with their position or duties as co-CEOs, or they have “a material reduction in such position or duties,” the executives are entitled to resign for “good reason” and to receive corresponding severance payments, the media company disclosed in an SEC filing Tuesday.

In addition, Cheeks, McCarthy and Robbins were each awarded grants of $3 million worth of restricted share units of Paramount’s Class B common stock under the company’s latest long-term incentive plan as of Oct. 8, 2024. The RSUs will vest ratably over a three-year period beginning on the first anniversary of the grant date, per the filing.

Under the deal that Skydance and its financial partner, RedBird Capital, clinched with controlling shareholder Shari Redstone and Paramount’s board, Skydance will merge with Paramount once the transaction closes (expected in the first half of 2025). David Ellison, Skydance’s CEO, is set to become chief executive of the combined company, and former NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell is to become president.

Prior to securing the deal with Skydance, Paramount dismissed former CEO Bob Bakish and formed the three-member Office of the CEO effective as of May 1 comprising: George Cheeks, president and CEO of CBS; Chris McCarthy, president and CEO, Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios and Paramount Media Networks; and Brian Robbins, president and CEO of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon.

Under updated employment agreements for the trio disclosed in June, Cheeks, McCarthy and Robbins were guaranteed severance payments equivalent to two times their annual base salary plus twice their annual target bonus amount, among other benefits, in the event they’re fired in connection with a sale or merger of Paramount Global (or within two years of such a transaction). In addition, the board granted each of the three execs an annual target bonus of $2.75 million, prorated to apply only to the portion of the current fiscal year in which they serve in the Office of the CEO.

Now the three co-CEOs’ target annual cash bonuses — which had previously been set to continue only for so long as they remained members of the Office of the CEO — “will continue to apply for the duration” of their employment with the company, without regard to whether they continue to serve as members of the Office of the CEO. The increased “bonus opportunity” will continue to apply only to the portion of the current fiscal year after which they were appointed co-CEOs and will be the target bonus amount on which any future severance payments will be based, according to the Paramount filing.

Paramount, amid a steady decline in its linear TV business, is slashing 15% of its U.S. headcount, eliminating about 2,000 jobs, in cuts to be substantially completed by the end of 2024. The layoffs represent a big chunk of Paramount’s plan to reduce costs by $500 million annually even before the Skydance merger. Shell has said Skydance is aiming to achieve at least $2 billion in annualized cost synergies at Paramount, a figure that incorporates the co-CEOs’ previously announced $500 million annual cost-cutting target.

Following the close of the Skydance-Paramount deal, Larry Ellison — the Oracle founder who is the father of Skydance CEO David Ellison — will own 77.5% of National Amusements Inc., which is currently owned by the Redstone family.

159 employees are leaving Automattic as CEO’s fight with WP Engine escalates

Automattic CEO Matt Mullenweg said on Thursday that 159 employees (roughly 8.4% of staff) accepted a severance package that the company had offered to those who disagreed with his direction of WordPress and his handling of the tussle with web hosting provider WP Engine.

In a blog post, Mullenweg said the package offered $30,000 or six months of salary, whichever is higher, but the employees who took it would not be eligible to be re-hired by Automattic.

Nearly 80% of people who took the offer worked in the company’s Ecosystem / WordPress division, and the rest were in Automattic’s Cosmos businesses, consisting of apps like Pocket Casts, Day One, Tumblr and Cloudup.

Mullenweg, who co-created WordPress and is arguably the face of the open-source project, tried to put a positive spin on the announcement, writing that the company “decided to design the most generous buy-out package possible, we called it an Alignment Offer.”

“HR added some extra details to sweeten the deal; we wanted to make it as enticing as possible,” he wrote, and later on added: “159 people took the offer, 8.4% of the company, the other 91.6% gave up $126M of potential severance to stay!”

“It was an emotional roller coaster of a week. The day you hire someone, you aren’t expecting them to resign or be fired; you’re hoping for a long and mutually beneficial relationship. Every resignation stings a bit,” Mullenweg wrote.

Some employees who left the company include the head of WordPress.com (Automattic’s commercial WordPress hosting arm), Daniel Bachhuber, head of programs and contributor experience Naoko Takano, the Principal architect for AI, Daniel Walmsley.

Mullenweg and Automattic have been in a skirmish with WP Engine for almost two weeks now, in which the CEO has called WP Engine a “cancer to WordPress,” accusing it of wrongfully using the WordPress and WooCommerce trademarks, and banning the company from accessing the open-source WordPress.org resources.

Both WP Engine and Automattic have sent each other cease-and-desist letters. And WP Engine earlier on Thursday filed a lawsuit against Automattic and Mullenweg, accusing the company and its CEO of “abuse of power,” extortion, and saying the WordPress co-creator has conflicts of interest in handling WordPress as an open-source project.

Automattic has so far called all of WP Engine’s claims meritless. “I stayed up last night reading WP Engine’s Complaint, trying to find any merit anywhere to it. The whole thing is meritless, and we look forward to the federal court’s consideration of their lawsuit,” the company’s legal representative, Neal Katyal, said in a blog post.

Over the last few days, several people on X have hinted about a severance offer being circulated among Automattic employees. Mullenweg also allegedly DM’d a former employee who posted about the offer and accused her of attacking the company and him.

Today, some Automattic employees who opted to keep their jobs posted messages in support of the company and Mullenweg.
